As an intern at Kaiser Permanente, I help out the Home Care department. Not only do I help provide caregiver relief by acting as a companion to the senior patients and delivering meds from the pharmacy, I also improve database efficiency and work production for the team of staff. Recently, I took on a new project with the special needs/senior care calling program. I ease the nurses' & case managers' workload by contacting patients via phone to find the best to schedule a phone follow up health assessment with the case managers. I will also call patients and offer to listen and provide caring and friendly companionship if patients want someone some emotional or friendly support.
Not only do I help with hospital management, I still wanted to actively pursue my graphic design interests. I initiated my interests and was asked to recreate and redesign a thank you card for donors.
I made two versions of a 5.5"X4.25" two sided card. I used<strong> Adobe Indesign</strong> to format the card layouts. I used Photoshop to make the front layout.
