The Great Pacific Northwest

I spent about a week in the PNW traveling through Washington and Oregon.

On Day 1- I flew up from Southern California to Seattle Tacoma airport (it took a little less than 3 hours).  From the airport, we got into our rental car and drove about 30 minutes to downtown Seattle. Like any downtown areas, parking is always a pain.

First stop, we visited Pike Place Market. This is probably where all the tourist traps are located. There's the gum wall, the original Starbucks store, Pike Place Chowder... and eclectic stores to shop and look at.

Our assortment of different flavored clam chowders.

Outfit for the Day (OFTD): black and white stripe T-shirt, denim shorts, red belt.

We stopped by the Gum Wall in Pike Place!

A different view from Pike Place.. the Lake!

We walked around Pike Place, went to the original Starbucks and saw a huge line so we didn't go in. We just went to a regular starbucks just around the corner instead to chill in an A/C room since it was HOT in Seattle. Afterwards, we went to eat dinner at this place called Local 360.

At night, we stopped by the Starbucks Roastery. The top is an orange latte and the bottom is the Shakerato expresso drink, which is basically an espresso with a side of cream to add to the espresso.
